Ashoke has more than 25 years of leadership experience across Asia in leading Fortune 500 companies across FMCG, Power, Financial Information, Media, Entertainment and Sports. He has in depth market knowledge and diverse experience of working in most Asian countries, including India, China & ASEAN as well as the Middle East.

As CFO for Procter & Gamble, PowerGen, Microsoft, Reuters, GroupM (WPP) and Publicis, he has great track record in corporate financial planning, setting strategic directions, new market entry and delivering on ambitious growth and profit plans. He has significant expertise in identifying & successfully scaling ventures, business transformation, restructuring, performance turnaround and delivering efficiencies and enterprise value.

Ashoke has diverse experience in successfully identifying & building service innovation practices across SEA, India and China.. As the M&A Head, Asia for GroupM, he was instrumental in forging multiple partnerships and new ventures in media, entertainment, sports, analytics & digital media including mobile and search marketing. He has a stellar record in deal identification, building alliances, structuring innovative solutions, financial closure and successful integration of acquired businesses and partners.

Recently (2013-2018), as the Managing Director & COO of Asia & Middle East for Lagardère Sports he was focused on building new business, setting strategic direction for Asia and Middle East and managing business growth and operations in the region for the largest Sports Rights and Marketing agency in Asia.

Entrepreneurial experience includes setting up Asia’s first dynamic carpooling service and a business advisory for early stage ventures. He currently advises start ups and new ventures in the sports, media and entertainment sector across Asia.
