Joining her family's business wasn't without its challenges, especially in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Wei Lin recounts "my dad, being the founder of the company, started his business in the 90s. There were a lot of manual work back then, including hands-on activities at times to make exceptional deliveries and give the special touch to some of his clients. Being a small frame woman, manual work was a tantamount task to me, and obviously I could not carry out much of the manual duties as I want to. It was after some years of effort in the business expansion where I had finally proven my worth".
Despite initial doubts and stereotypes, Wei Lin persevered, carving her path through dedication and innovation. She started to drive the business towards digital marketing, and successfully created their own digital presence. It was then that she slowly found her place in the company.
