FT Consulting Rallies Local SMEs to Raise Funds for the NTUC-U Care Fund to Mark 30th Anniversary

FT Consulting marked its 30th anniversary by rallying local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to raise funds to help fellow Singaporeans in need during this pandemic.

A total of S$130,000 raised by 31 donors, many of whom are well-loved local household names, will be channelled to the NTUC-U Care Fund. The cheque was presented to Mr Zainal Sapari, NTUC Assistant Director-General and Director of NTUC Care and Share Department at FT Consulting’s Marquee and Charity Event on 24 August 2021 held in conjunction with IP Week @ SG. Mr Heng Chee How, Senior Minister of State for Defence and NTUC Deputy Secretary-General, graced the occasion as the event’s guest of honour.

The NTUC-U Care Fund is the charity arm of National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) that aims to better the welfare of lower-income union members and their families. Funds raised will go towards supporting various assistance programmes, including helping families defray their cost of living and their children’s school expenses, as well as caring for the elderly.

Our Group Executive Chairman, Mr John Ong , also presented a Token of Appreciation to Mr Heng Chee How for his attendance. The design and its five orchids on the porcelain plaque are stylised to resemble the moon and five stars on Singapore’s national flag. Just like our flag, the plaque’s design represents ideals of democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality.
